WIARC at Pointe-Claire Village Day
This year, WIARC is pleased to partner with the organizers of Pointe-Claire Village Day, taking place on Saturday, August 8, 2026. The event runs from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m.
From the Pointe-Claire Village Commercial Association: Pointe-Claire Village Day is a free, family-friendly community celebration organized by the Pointe-Claire Village Commercial Association (PCVCA), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the businesses of Pointe-Claire Village. The event celebrates the Village's diversity and community spirit through live entertainment, cultural performances, artisan vendors, family activities, local businesses, and delicious food. Our goal is to bring residents and visitors together, encourage local shopping, and showcase everything that makes Pointe-Claire Village such a vibrant destination.

We encourage all WIARC members to visit the event and support the club’s presence. Please also help spread the word by sharing the event information with family, friends, neighbours and other community contacts.
WIARC will participate as a community organization, giving visitors an opportunity to meet local amateur radio operators, learn what amateur radio is and find out how to get involved. Our participation also highlights the practical role amateur radio can play in technical education, community service and emergency communication. This year’s Village Day theme is “A world tour without leaving the Village,” celebrating the multicultural roots of the community. |
Call for Volunteers to Man the Booth
All members are welcome to help man the WIARC booth for a period of one or two hours. If you are available, please let us know which time period you would prefer.
